Microsoft Kin

Aimed directly at teenagers and social networking addicts, Microsoft has announced a Smartphone called 'Kin' that allows you to plug straight into social networking sites like Facebook, Twitter and MySpace - pulling all of your friends and feeds into a single stream and making it simple to share photos, videos, songs and other content. The phone comes in two flavours - the Kin One for everyday users and the Kin Two for those who spend more time networking than breathing. The new phone combines the features of the Zune and Windows Phone 7, though the result is an entirely new platform.

The Kin One features a rounded square shape that fits in your hand and is more attractive out of the two. It comes with a tiny 320x240 screen, 5 megapixel camera, VGA video recording and 4GB of non-expandable storage. The Kin Two is more powerful, with a more average design including 480x320 screen, 8 megapixel camera, 720p video recording and 8GB non-expandable storage. Both the handsets run on Nvidia's Tegra platform.
